New Americans Summer Program
This summer, in conjunction with the Vassar Consortium on Forced Migration, Displacement, and Education, Vassar will be sponsoring a summer residential program for 20 students who have completed 10th or 11th grade of high school and who are refugees or forced migrants arriving in the US in the last four years. The program will be from July 7th to July 28th and is directed at students who are interested in attending college. The students will live on Vassar's campus, explore college-level classes and projects with Vassar professors, and learn about the college admissions process. Students will also collaborate on a community project with mural artist Joel Bergner. For more information, contact John Bradley at firstname.lastname@example.org or (845) 437-7360.
